Ofure Abigael Oinyan

Hi everyone,  My name is Ofure Abigael Obinyan and I am one of the Peer Ministers  for the Protestant Campus Ministry.  I am so glad to be working with you all as a family!  Here in PCM, we are family and we are here to give support in every aspect; be it in relationships, God, beliefs, academics or just having someone to talk to. I am really excited for the upcoming semester and am looking forward to meeting with you all!  Hope you are too.  Always know that we love you but God loves you more!

Ronae Rivers

My name is Ronae Rivers. I classify as a sophomore here at Stony Brook University. I double major in Sociology and Psychology and I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. My family practices the religion of Baptist and I attend the Loyal Baptist Church in the Bronx, New York.  I sing, I paint, and I draw along with many more positive leadership skills. I am a part of the Educational Opportunity Program Student Association as High School Initiative Co-Chair and I am also a part of the Multicultural Woman’s Alliance Committee. On my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends and give back to my community the best way I can.

Federic Jones

My name is Frederic Jones and I am very proud to be a member of PCM. I was born in the Caribbean of Jamaica where church going and Christian fellowship was an important part of my life. Being a member of PCM at Stony Brook awakens a sense of community and spiritual connection that is essential for purposeful living. The fellowship is very entertaining and spiritually engaging; Pastor Brenda oftentimes challenge us to create new ways of bringing the bible alive and the word of god into the 21st century. Indeed, PCM is not just an ordinary Christian fellowship- it is a home

Christina Roman

My name is Christina Roman,   I am a freshmen here at stony brook. Currently I am a biomedical engineering major. I love helping out and serving my Lord and the community. My pastimes include playing the ukulele, dancing, and singing, building robots and studying.  I'm a happy person who is very sociable and playful. I participate in campus ministry because it is a fun and easy way to serve and worship God.

Gaylen Ronde

Gaylen Ronde is a 22 year old Health Science major, with plans of becoming a Physical Therapist (DPT).  Gaylen chose Health Science as her major because she has been on the patient side of health care (rehabilitation) and recognizes the need for officials in this field and she is passionate about helping others. AFS 283 will help her to become more in touch with herself as she continues to develop values and priorities in her life.  She has always been a believer in Christ and hopes to convince others of his devotion as well as reconnect with the God that has seen her through her life to this day.
