The Protestant Campus Ministry is concerned with the spiritual development of students, staff, and faculty members of the college community and encourages everyone to contribute to the campus and the community. Whether Christian, another religious tradition, or simply uncertain about your faith, you can use our resources to discover what is meaningful in your life. We will be pleased to assist you in the spiritual aspects of your college adventure as you meet new people, encounter new experiences and get involved in campus life.

PCM is a ministry of faith, fun, fellowship and friends.

Protestant Campus Ministry sponsors:

·         Afternoon Worship and Holy Communion Service – First Sunday of each month at 4:30 PM in Union 249

·         Young Women’s Bible Study —   Wednesdays at 5 pm, starting in February 2010.

·          Sweet Hour of Prayer / Meditation ---- Wednesday morning prayer at 8:30 am and noon day prayer from 12:00 noon  to 2 PM in Union 276, Prayer room.

·      Community Service Oppurtunities ---  Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Adopt a Grandparent. Campus Ministry maintains a list of local short- and long-term volunteer opportunities with local churches affiliated with the Protestant Campus Ministries.

·          Introduction to the Bible  --- classes can be arranged

·          Resource Library ---- a resource library for use by student pastoral assistants (formally known as peer students) for bible studies, discussion groups and other occasions.  Books, games, videos and supplies are filed according to subject and can be signed out.  Resources are also available to students seeking links between faith and career connections (i.e. medical missions)

Campus Ministry maintains Worship Whereabouts --a listing of places of worship in the area--that is available to all students.

Chaplain Ford is also available for spiritual counseling and support. Please contact the Campus Ministry office or  email her at ChaplainBFord@ProtestantCMSBU.org
